Dr. Elizabeth Harrison obtained her undergraduate degree in economics from Cornell University, and after working for several years in business consulting, she decided to pursue a new career in dentistry. Dr. Harrison received her doctorate from the University of Maryland School of Dentistry. She continued her training through the dental residency program at the Baltimore Veterans Administration Hospital, where she expanded her skills in advanced surgical, prosthetic and implant dentistry while helping to restore veterans’ dental health. Dr. Harrison offers a wide range of dental treatments, from dental surgery and implants to cosmetic procedures and Invisalign, and prides herself on making each and every patient feel comfortable in the dental chair.
Dr. Harrison believes in the importance of giving back to the community and in continuing education. She was a recipient of the Dean’s Award for Community Service during dental school and she participates annually in the Mission of Mercy program, providing free dental care to those in need. Dr. Harrison is an active member of the American Dental Association, the Academy of General Dentistry, the Maryland State Dental Association, and the International Congress of Oral Implantologists. She participates in several local dental study clubs and attends numerous dental conferences each year.
Dr. Harrison was born and raised in Bellport, a small town on eastern Long Island, New York. She has lived in Maryland for the last ten years and has put down roots in Harford County, where she resides with her husband Joe, their son Ethan and their dog Sadie. She has even recruited her parents to relocate to Harford County as well. In her free time, Dr. Harrison enjoys spending quality time with her family and friends (including her very large extended family), hiking and spending time outdoors, relaxing at the beach, and attending concerts.
